Description:
We plan to structure our session on stochastic methods for biochemical reaction networks around three subtopics: asymptotic results and approximations for well-mixed systems, inference, and applications with spatial dynamics. Each subtopic will feature four speakers, and we propose organizing these into three sessions, allowing for in-depth exploration of each area. Thank you for your consideration.
Diversity Statement:
We selected speakers to ensure diversity in gender, location, and career stage. Our twelve invited speakers include ten from the U.S., one from the U.K., and one from Australia, with three junior researchers (two postdocs and one assistant professor). The lineup also features four women researchers. This event aims to foster inclusive discussions and potential collaborations across diverse expertise.
